Recognition

The Grassland Regional Volunteer Resource Centre (VRC) partners with local, regional and national Volunteer Organizations to promote volunteerism during National Volunteer Week. Activities range from hosting workshops for Volunteers to delivering Cookie- Grams to volunteers throughout the County

During National Volunteer Week, 2011, the VRC hosted a Voluntary Sector Symposium and  offered  training to both Volunteers and Voluntary Sector organizations throughout the County. In addition, the VRC initiated our First Annual Cookie Gram delivery program. Voluntary Sector organizations submitted name of volunteers and the VRC went out on the road making home deliveries of cookies to volunteers. The program was fun and very well received.
