Citizen & Junior Citizen of the Year 2011

Citizen and Junior Citizen of the Year provides the opportunity to celebrate and honour our local citizens. This event includes an evening of award recognition, dinner and entertainment.
Kathy Holt, Citizen of the Year

As a very active member of the Rolling Hills Community, Kathy Holt has spent a lifetime making her community a better place to live for all. Volunteering her time and efforts as the unofficial “volunteer manager” of the Community Hall, she has been largely responsible for the success of many events, including the Phesant Phestival, Christmas daze, Oyster Fry…etc. She also plays a very big part of the congregation at the Rolling Hills Church of God. She has served as a president, secretary and a faithful member of Ladies Ministries. There is no job she will not put her hand to. Kathy has been known to lend this helping hand whenever and whoever needs it. She is always one of the first to offer food and support to someone who may be sick, or has been affected by a death or accident. Kathy’s optimism, energy, commitment, and care and concern for people, makes her an extraordinary person; a role model in the Rolling Hills community.
