Volunteer of the Month

The VRC Volunteer of the Month program selects one volunteer each month of the year to recognize publically. Voluntary sector organizations complete nomination forms and submit forms to the VRC. Selection is based on contribution to the organization or community and is not necessarily based on length of service or numbers of hours worked.

Those selected as the Volunteer of the Month are a gift certificate for the Brooks Legion to purchase a meal for two and are recognized publically on the “Country Kickers” radio promotion. As part of the promotion on “Country Kickers”, recipients receive a travel mug and gift certificate for Humpty’s Restaurant.

All Volunteer of the Month winners are invited and recognized at the Annual Citizen and Junior Citizen of the Year Awards Dinner.

Nomination forms can be picked up at the VRC office or printed and faxed to 403-501-2711
